Will Volteva sockets fit my switch range?
Our USB sockets are intended for selected switch ranges with a 55 × 55 mm centre plate, including ranges from Gira, Jung, Merten, Berker and Busch-Jaeger. Not every range from each manufacturer is automatically compatible. Check the compatibility overview in the product images before ordering. If your range is not listed, contact us and we will help.
What charging power do the USB sockets provide?
Depending on the version and connected device, one USB-C port provides up to 18 W via Power Delivery. When both ports are used at the same time, they share the available total output. For permanently installed tablets and displays with higher power requirements, we recommend the 20 W in-wall power supply. The charging profiles supported by the device are decisive.
Can I install the products myself?
Work on the electrical installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician. Product pages provide dimensions, connection data and compatibility information so the installation can be planned in advance.
How long does delivery take?
Orders are usually processed within 1–2 business days. Estimated total delivery time is approximately 3–5 business days within Germany and 5–10 business days to other EU countries. You will receive tracking information by email once your order has shipped.
What if I ordered the wrong variant?
Please email info@volteva.de with your order number, preferably before installation. We will explain the next steps and check whether an exchange or return is possible. Your statutory withdrawal and warranty rights remain unaffected.
Is the IP67 power supply suitable for outdoor use?
The encapsulated power-supply enclosure is rated IP67 and designed for the stated temperature range. Whether the complete installation is suitable for the intended outdoor location also depends on the connections, cables, back box and installation site. Planning and connection must be carried out by a qualified electrician.
Do you offer project pricing and larger quantities?
Yes. Send us an item list or a short description of your project. We will check availability, compatibility and possible volume pricing and prepare an individual quotation.
Do I need to order an inner plate separately?
No. The USB sockets include the inner plate intended for the selected version. The separately available two-packs are replacements or allow a later colour change. The outer frame for the relevant switch range is not included unless the product page states otherwise.
